The Rules of Wall Ball

The aim of the game is to hit the ball off the back wall until your opponent fails to return it, earning points each time you win a rally until you win the game.

HOW TO PLAY & THE RULES

⁃ Each player has 1 touch, 1 bounce on the ground and 1 strike allowed to return the ball above the height line on the wall.

⁃ Players aim to keep the ball above the height line and inside the court parameters.

⁃ The ball can hit the side walls at any time so long as it still hits the back wall in the shot.

⁃ When serving the players must not use the side wall.

⁃ When serving the player must be at the back of the court.

⁃ The game can be played in singles or doubles.

HOW TO SCORE

⁃ If the ball bounces twice before your opponent can hit the ball.

⁃ If your opponent hits it below the minimum height line on the wall.

⁃ If your opponent hits the ball back outside the court parameters (if you play inside a 4-walled circuit this does not apply).

⁃ A player causes interference on purpose with the other player.

POINTS

⁃ Players must win by 2 clear points.

⁃ Players can play up to 5 points to win a set.

⁃ The players can decide how many sets they want to play to.
