Role Overview


Torpey is preparing to enter a new market with two newly-engineered high performance sports products, following several years of R&D investment and a structured go-to-market plan.
Torpey are seeking a Product Launch Manager to take up a senior, commercially driven role in bringing these products successfully to market via a coordinated, high-impact launch, whilst working closely with the Torpey leadership, development and marketing personnel.


This is a fixed-term, minimum 9-month contract ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment, and can bring previous product launch experience and hands-on execution.

Location: Hybrid - with travel to/from Ire/UK required

Position Type: Flexible, Part-Time or Full-Time considered

Reports to: Managing Director (MD)

Salary: €55k – 75k pro rata depending on experience and passion

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Leadership & Revenue Delivery

  • Own the commercial launch plan for Torpey’s new sports products, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, sales targets, and planned market positioning.
  • Translate market insights and internal strategy into clear sales objectives and KPIs, ensuring launch performance is both measurable and accountable.
  • Work cross-functionally to support sales readiness, channel strategy, pricing decisions, and distribution planning.

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Build a KPI framework for the full launch cycle
  • Produce weekly and monthly reporting on progress, risks, and commercial impact
  • Deliver actionable recommendations to optimise performance

Launch Planning

  • Lead and coordinate the launch project end to end, including timelines, checkpoints, internal communication flows, and stakeholder alignment.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing team on content, campaign planning, and go to market sequencing, ensuring a targeted marketing execution.
  • Work directly with Torpey’s leadership, engineering and production teams to maintain launch readiness and ensure product availability aligns with marketing.

Launch Events & Engagement

  • Coordinate product presence at key locations, tournaments, partner locations, or community events where required.
  • Be available and willing to work occasional evening / weekend to support critical launch-period activities, events, or content capture sessions.
  • Gather feedback and insights from early users for future potential product iterations

Required Experience / Skills

  • 5-8+ years in product launch, commercial management, category management, or go-to-market roles.
  • Proven track record executing multi-channel consumer product launches, ideally in sport, performance equipment, or comparable industries.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams
  • Strong commercial acumen with comfort owning KPIs, forecasting, and revenue-linked decision-making
  • Excellent project management, able to drive clarity, structure, and high-quality execution
  • Collaborative communication style, with the confidence to lead alignment across senior stakeholders.
